I work with Young People

Working with young people can be rewarding and fulfilling, but it can be difficult sometimes too, therefore Youthline provides a BACP accredited low-cost one to one counselling service to those that care for and support young people. You could be a teacher, sports coach, youth worker, social worker or volunteer working with young people.

During counselling you will be able to discuss issues that are affecting you with your counsellor in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. All we ask in return is that you make a commitment to attend a weekly session, at the same time and day each week and that you let us know if you are unable to attend.

Therapy usually lasts for 6 to 24 sessions. The service is primarily staffed by trainee and volunteer therapists, who are all registered with professional bodies, supported by qualified professional supervisors and have been trained in safeguarding. Sessions run from 3pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 7pm on Fridays and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays at 7 Portman Close in Bracknell.
